Considering a deal? Get a pre-LOI debt read first.

Most buyers come to a lender after they've signed an LOI. By then, the structure of the deal is locked and the wrong structure can mean the difference between a lender funding your acquisition and walking away. We do free pre-LOI debt reads so you understand exactly what's fundable, what isn't, and how to structure the LOI you sign so the financing actually closes.

    What We Finance

    Whatever your deal needs.

    What Buyers Say

From buyers who've been through it.

"Drew connected me with a fantastic lender who gave me the best terms I could have possibly had. There's no downside to working with a broker. You don't pay them anything, and nothing beats a competitive marketplace for terms. It's a smart approach."

    Daniel Batista

    Owner at Candeeland Kids Downey

"He got multiple lenders interested right away, which gave me real options to compare and helped me lock in great terms. I always felt like I had someone in my corner."

    Joel Valdez

    Business Acquirer

"I wish ¼ of the people I work with were as helpful as Drew. He is fantastic and just as, if not more knowledgeable, about the SBA as the bank loan officers. The work he did on the back end to prepare my loan for review took a lot of work off my plate and made what we presented to the banks extremely professional."

    Fred Daum

    Owner at MBA Marketing

"Within just 48 hours, they delivered multiple competitive SBA term sheets, including one at an exceptional 7.5% fixed rate. They know all the right lenders and how to get deals done fast."

    John McLeod

    Owner at Champion Concrete Cutting

"Many lenders didn't want to touch my especially challenging deal. But Drew did an amazing job of solving each challenge, and I ended up with several good offers. I'd use Drew again in a heartbeat."

    FAQ

    Common questions, straight answers.

How much does BayCoast cost the buyer?
For SBA deals, nothing. We're paid by the lender when your deal closes. There are no upfront fees and no retainers. You pay nothing if we don't get the deal funded. For non-SBA / conventional options (when the deal and borrower profile fit), we still work on a success-fee basis so there are no up-front fees.
I haven't signed an LOI yet. Is it too early to talk?
It's actually the best time. A pre-LOI debt read is free and helps you understand what's fundable before you lock in deal terms. Most buyers wish they had this conversation before signing the LOI, not after.
How long does it take to get a term sheet?
Typically 7–10 days from a complete package to multiple competing term sheets. Speed depends on the cleanliness of the deal and how quickly we can get information from the seller.
Do you work with first-time buyers?
Yes. A large portion of our clients are first-time acquirers, including searchers, independent sponsors, and operators buying their first business. SBA 7(a) is built for this.
What's the maximum SBA loan size?
$5M on a single SBA 7(a) loan. We can structure larger deals using pari-passu conventional debt alongside SBA, or pure conventional financing when SBA isn't the right fit.
How long does the full process take?
Most acquisitions close roughly 70 days from package to funding once the LOI is signed and diligence kicks off. Complex deals can take longer; clean deals can close faster.
Do I have to use the lender you recommend?
No. We bring you multiple competing term sheets and you choose. Our job is to give you real options and the information you need to make an informed decision.
What kinds of businesses do your lenders fund?
Mostly cash-flowing lower-middle-market businesses: home services, business services, light manufacturing, distribution, healthcare services, B2B services, and similar. If the business produces consistent cash flow, there's almost always a path.
